Jill Stark

Kindergarten Teacher

Jill holds a Child Development and Family Science degree from North Dakota State University. Directly out of college, she began working as a Church Youth Director for junior and senior high school students at Messiah Lutheran Church in Fargo, ND. She invested in the students there for six years. For the last 14 years, Jill has been teaching in Early Childhood Preschool Programs. She’s worked at Prairie Five Head Start and for YME ECFE School Readiness.

Teaching children about loving Jesus and having a relationship with Him is Jill’s favorite way of serving in the advance of God’s kingdom. She’s excited to teach Kindergarten at Sacred Journey, where firm spiritual and educational foundations are laid in students’ lives.

Jill and her husband, Will, are new to the Alexandria area, having recently relocated from Granite Falls, MN. They have three daughters – Hannah, Hope, and Isabelle. Jill enjoys going for walks, reading, watching her kids participate in various activities, listening to music, spending time on the pontoon, and enjoying her two dogs, Honey (black lab) and Finn (chihuahua).
