Lori Mynczywor

K-2 Facilitator

Lori attended the College of St. Scholastica before staying home with her 3 children. She is excited to begin her 14th year in education at Sacred Journey Academy. The first 13 years included time as a secondary school paraprofessional, paraprofessional mentor, and classroom assistant in a preschool.

The Lord has now led Lori to become involved with Sacred Journey Academy. She loves the small class sizes that promote project-based learning, multi-age learning, and the natural mentoring that comes out of it, all of which are centered on Christ. Starting your day with communal worship sets this teaching role apart! Using “Laughter is the best medicine” and “taking a breath before you act”, Lori is well-equipped to teach the youngest students at SJA with love and excellence.

Lori has served in various ministry roles at her church. From kids ministry to prayer team, to life groups, Lori uses her God-given gifts and talents to serve the Lord with all her abilities. Her favorite way to advance the Kingdom of God is to encourage others and serve in the background with the tasks that aren’t always noticed, but are so important to the body of Christ. Lori is also a Christian yoga instructor who enjoys crocheting and reading.

Lori and her husband, Michael, have three kids, one son-in-law, and five grandkids. They attend River of Life in Sauk Centre.
