Brock’s life has been shaped by two commitments: strong business leadership and serving the next generation. After earning his Business Administration degree from North Dakota State University in 1992, he launched his career as a restaurant owner and operator. In 1997, he joined the Minneapolis Public Schools Food Service Department, beginning a 22-year career managing and directing child nutrition programs across the United States.

Today, Brock serves as Sales and Customer Service Manager at Enterprise-CP, LLC in Long Prairie, Minnesota, and owns the Blind Squirrel Pickleball Club in Alexandria. The club’s mission, as Brock will tell you, is to share two things: the love of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of pickleball. In that order.

Brock has received professional recognition over the years, but he’s quick to redirect the conversation. The only award he considers truly worth mentioning is the grace of Christ’s blood and sacrifice for his sins. All others pale in comparison.

A pastor’s kid with a gift for bridging the generation gap, Brock has served as a Cub Scout leader, Sunday school teacher, and YMCA camp counselor. He believes God gave him an unusual ability to understand the energized, unbridled nature of the young mind and help channel it, through love and firm commitment, toward God’s purposes.

His guiding purpose is simple: “Make Jesus smile with every word, deed, and thought.” He holds consistency, kindness, honesty, integrity, and humility as his core values, and is the first to call himself a work in progress.

Brock is married to Heike, who works in accounting at Camp Ripley and shares his passion for Jesus, horses, and pickleball. Together they live on a 45-acre hobby farm in Long Prairie with three dogs, two cats, and seventeen horses. Their daughter, Arianna, is an educator in Bloomington Public Schools; their son, Breydon, is a firefighter for the city of Burnsville.

When Brock isn’t on the pickleball court or out fishing or horseback riding, you’ll most likely find him on the deck with Heike, breathing, as he says, and grateful for it.
